October Favorites

When it comes to getting dressed, I feel the most like myself in October. The weather lends itself to easy dressing and my go-to outfit formula: jeans, a plain T-shirt, fun shoes, and an incredible coat. This formula makes me feel put together and also requires minimal thought. I have quite the coat collection so this season also gives me the opportunity to rotate through my favorite pieces.

I also love this time of year because it is logistically easy to work with. I can wear my velvet Vibi Venezia ballet flats without worrying about rain puddles or sweaty feet. I can blowout my hair without it becoming a frizzy humid mess and my makeup sits better on my face. Getting ready for the day is so much more enjoyable!

Since I work from home, I’m guilty of spending too much time in a sweatshirt and leggings. The change of season has inspired me to actually get ready and get out more, even if I’m just working on my computer from a coffee shop. Because I’ve been doing my version of “full glam” more days that not, I have developed a whole new list of beauty product all-stars. October may not be over yet, but I already know my favorites from the month!
